I gotta be honest, it feels surreal to be in 2021.
A brand spanking new year and yet it doesn’t feel that much different from the last 9 months.
We left a year riddled with immense grief, trauma, uncertainty, fear, pivoting and hopelessness, but it’s also been a year of hope, patience, renewal, intimacy, discovery, faith and alignment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And this year, I’m praying for more of the same for us, the good and the bad running on intersecting tracks because:⠀
Without fear we don’t experience the power of faith,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Without grief we don’t experience to the beauty of comforting and without testing we don’t experience what it means to endure and persevere. Our response to trials either show us what we’re made of or produce more of what we need.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I pray that -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Whatever we do will prosper as we find joy in God’s plan {Ps 1:2-3}
2. We’ll pry back the fingers of fear, imposter syndrome, and past hurt from around our necks so we can thrive in purpose⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. We’ll intentionally sow God’s words into the fabric of our being⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. We’ll speak life and truth within our minds and to others {Prov. 18:21}⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. We’ll have the courage to live in freedom daily {Hebrews 12:1}⠀⠀
6. We’ll discover God in the details, even the mundane ones⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hope you have a fulfilled 2021 friend!
